How To Flash CWM Recovery On Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300

Now we are going to flash a custom recovery in order to have advantage of New updates of ROMs and Flash Custom ROMs on this device directly via Recovery. Before You Begin: (must do)

1. Drivers should be installed on your PC, if not go to: Samsung USB Drivers.

Downloads:

1. Odin

2. Recovery.tar

Flashing Recovery:

1. Download the above both files.

2. Extract only Odin, and Open Odin.

3. Now turn off your smartphone, turn it on in download mode by pressing Home Button + Volume Down + Power Button, dont leave buttons until a warning screen appears, when warning screen appears leave all buttons and Press Volume Up button to continue to download mode.

4. Connect your smartphone to PC via USB Cable, in download mode.

5. Added! message will be shown in message box of Odin, that means phone is properly connected.

6. Now click on PDA and choose the recovery......tar file where you downloaded it before. And then click START in Odin.

7. Your phone will be flashed with a custom Recovery.

To go into recovery mode, Press and Hold Volume UP + Home Button + Powerbutton, dont leave buttons until the phone restarts with samsung logo, then leave Power Button and Home Button and Keep press Volume Up, the phone will start in recovery mode.
